Aventine by Stephen French

Aventine is a free oldstyle font, created in the tradition of the Lyons capitals cut by Louis Perrin in 1860.

It features some typical characteristics of Old Style typefaces:

• Wedge-shaped serifs
• Left-leaning axis / stress
• Small x-height
