FontsArena vs. The Godfather

One of the first things people notice is the FontsArena logo and I’m frequently asked “Is that The Godfather font?” Well, the short answer is… no.

When I began working on FontsArena, I searched for a couple of weeks for a good font for the logotype. I had no idea what I wanted and in which direction things would go. I just frantically went through batch-browsing multiple typographic sources. When I finally found Sheepman it was a clear “that’s it!” moment, and I cannot think of a more fit typeface.

To clear out any doubts, here is The Godfather (original) and The Godfather spelled in Sheepman.
