Free Aperçu font alternatives
Aperçu’s history begins in December 2009 with UK-based studio The Entente’s idea to create a typeface with features from classic realists like Franklin Gothic, Johnston, Gill Sans, and Neuzeit.
Released commercially through The Entente’s Colophon Foundry in August 2010, Aperçu was an instant success.
After 5 extensions since the launch, it currently includes 14 regular styles: 7 weights (Thin, ExtraLight, Light, Regular, Medium, Bold, Black Mono) plus matching italics, and a monospaced style in 4 weights (Mono Light, Mono Regular, Mono Medium, Mono Bold).
