Work Sans by Wei Huang
Work Sans has been updated in November 2018, to include a variable font version, matching italics for all 9 weights, as well as extended language support.
Based loosely on early Grotesques, Work Sans is optimised for great legibility on screens at sizes between 14px and 48px. The extreme weights are designed more for display use.
Includes webfont formats that have been autohinted with ttfautohint, and also a variable font version. Please see BUILD.md for build instructions. You can also check out the Work Sans Github repo.
